Agoura Hills Someone stole 17 Dell PCs, a Dell Power Edge storage terminal and a flat-screen monitor from a business in the 28000 block of Canwood Street between Nov. 27 and 29. Each computer was valued at $1,000 and the storage terminal at $5,700. The total loss is estimated at more than $23,000. A metal doorframe was also damaged. Several computers were taken from a business in the 28000 block of Agoura Road on Nov. 30. Deputies suspect the unknown culprit(s) pried a door to enter the business. The victim reported $13,000 worth of computer equipment was stolen. They include two Dells valued at $1,500 each, two Dells valued at $1,000 each, four Dells worth $500 each and one 20-inch Dell monitor valued at $3,000. A keyboard was also taken. An adjacent business was also burglarized that day. About $7,000 in computer equipment was taken from a business in the 28700 block of Canwood Street between Nov. 27 and 29. The door of the business was pried open and the suspect(s) stole a Dell CPU valued at $4,000 and a Dell laptop with a 15-inch screen valued at $2,000. A 19-inch computer monitor ($850) was also taken. It appears the suspect(s) used some sort of prying device to enter and may have left evidence at the scene. Employees didn’t recognize a cell phone holder that was found when they came to work on Monday. A home burglary occurred between 10 a.m. and noon in the 6300 block of Acadia Avenue. The suspect(s) took $5,000 in jewelry and a $750 gold watch. Damages to a door, which was pried open, were estimated at $150. The suspect(s) also took a jewelry box. The items were taken from a dresser in the upstairs bedroom. Someone stole a Compaq flat screen ($950) and an Apple flat screen ($650) and damaged the door of a business ($200) in the 28100 block of Agoura Road on Nov. 30. The unknown suspect(s) pried the front door of the business to enter. Deputies are investigating whether this incident is related to others that took place in the area recently. A business was burglarized in the 30300 block of Canwood Street during the Thanksgiving holiday break. The suspect(s) took a telephone headset, a flat-screen monitor and two notebook computers valued at about $3,500. There were no signs of forced entry. Suspect(s) smashed the right rear window of a 2005 Toyota Prius parked in a driveway in the 5700 block of Lindero Drive between 8:30 p.m. and midnight on Dec. 1. According to the victim, the suspect(s) threw a beer bottle at his car and shattered the window, a loss of $200. A vehicle parked at a business in the 28000 block of Canwood Street between Nov. 26 and 29 was vandalized. The car was spray-painted with graffiti on the body panel and on a sliding door. Damages were $400. Graffiti was found on a garage door in the 5800 block of Lake Lindero Canyon on Nov. 27. The victim suspects the perpetrators were teenagers who she saw in her front yard the evening before. They were smoking and drinking but not causing any problems at that time, said the report. Peace officers noted that similar incidents occurred near the victim’s home with the same type of graffiti marks. A motor home parked in the 5900 block of Lake Lindero Canyon on Nov. 26 was spray-painted with the letters DSK and ETW, causing $1,500 in damages. A Ford van parked in the 6000 block of Lake Lindero Canyon was spray-painted in green with the initials JP on Nov. 26. Damages were estimated at $800. A fence and a concrete wall in the 6000 block of Hackers Lane were vandalized on Nov. 26. The words Gumbo, DSK and T Biggs were spray-painted in green on the structures, causing $100 in damages. Calabasas Burglars took a 32-inch Sony plasma TV valued at $8,600 and a safe worth $200 from a home in the 22000 block of De Kalb Drive. The items were stolen while the family was on vacation between Nov. 24 and 28. A sliding door was left open. A home in the 26000 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard was burglarized between 3 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 2. It appears that the thief(s) entered the living room via a window by the front door, which was found open, and he/she stole a Dell laptop valued at $2,000 from a coffee table in the living room. There were no signs of forced entry. Westlake Village A victim reported that his car was burglarized and the suspect(s) took $150 in cash that was in his glove compartment while the car was parked in a lot in the 5700 block of Corsa Avenue. The incident occurred between 8 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 30. Damages to the VW Jetta window were estimated at $100. The victim told sheriffs no one knew about the cash. He said this was the second time someone stole from his car while he was parked at that location. He also noted this may have happened to other victims. Vandals tagged a wall at a business in the 31800 block of Village Center during the night of Nov. 30. The letters ETW and J.P. Bitch were spray-painted with blue paint. While sheriffs were patrolling the First Neighborhood business center, an employee contacted them and told them that an unknown person(s) tagged the enclosure. Deputies noted this incident is probably related to other taggings in the area that occurred in the previous two weeks. The letters ET and STW were spray-painted on a garage door and an entry sign stone in the 2500 block of N. Three Springs Drive on Nov. 26. The vandals caused $400 in damages to the properties.
