Prospective foster parents invited to learn about system

Children’s Bureau, a licensed foster family and adoption agency, will host a parent orientation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tues., Dec. 28 at the Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road. Caring adults, single or married (English and Spanish-speaking) are invited.

Foster parenting involves caring for a child (or brothers or sisters) on a short- or long-term basis. Adoption offers children a permanent, stable home environment.
