Agoura Hills A property owner reported on Nov. 21 that her vacant parcel in the 3200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road had been vandalized. Damages were $2,050. She suspected the incident occurred over the weekend. Doors and windows on several unoccupied structures on the property, which used to be a private club, were damaged. Deputies advised the victim that the vandalism would continue if the property stays vacant. The victim reported she did see a white male walk off the property when she first arrived. He got into a late model Ford Ranger and drove away. A minivan parked in shopping center in the 5600 block of Kanan Road was vandalized between 5 and 6 a.m. on Nov. 23. Someone shattered the driver’s side window of the vehicle but no property was taken from the car. The damages were $200. Calabasas One Sony laptop computer valued at $2,500 was stolen from a desk at a business in the 5000 block of North Parkway Calabasas on Nov. 22. There were no signs of forced entry. A Toshiba laptop computer, a denim vest with the Lakers logo, and cash (totaling a loss of about $900) were taken from a business in the 24000 block of Park Sorrento overnight on Nov. 17. Employees reported that when they returned to work on Nov. 18 they noticed desk drawers were opened and some of the contents were ransacked. There were no damages to doors or windows and it appeared the suspect had a key to the office. Unknown person(s) entered a locked vehicle through an open window and took a stereo valued at $375. The incident occurred in the 22000 block of Mullholland Highway at about 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 23. A victim in the 4000 block of Park Paloma reported she received annoying phone calls the evening of Nov. 18. Although she has caller ID, the calls came from a blocked number and the caller’s number wasn’t displayed. The victim stated a male caller left a message on her voice mail and called repeatedly afterward. She indicated the caller could be a former college teacher. Authorities suggested she should call her phone service provider to have the calls tracked. Hidden Hills Seventeen mailboxes were vandalized during the weekend of Nov. 27 and 28. The mailboxes were destroyed, said a Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station detective, but no mail was reported stolen. Oak Park At 10:30 p.m. Nov. 23 in the 5700 block of Oak Bend Lane, police arrested a suspect for possession of a controlled substance. Westlake Village A purse valued at $40 and its contents valued at about $100 were stolen when the owner left her purse on a door hook in a restroom at her workplace by mistake. Westlake/T.O. The loss was $3,220 and the damages were $150 when someone broke into a vehicle and stole a laptop computer, a bag, clothing and some other miscellaneous items between 12 and 12:40 p.m. Nov. 23 in the 27000 block of Agoura Road.
