Lupus support group to host local dentist

Dr. Stanley Organ, DDS, will be the featured speaker at the monthly meeting of the Conejo Valley Lupus Support Group, which will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tues., June 1, in Room A at the Westlake Village Urgent Care Center, 4415 S. Lakeview Canyon Road in Westlake Village.

Organ practices dentistry in Westlake Village. A graduate of UCLA and the USC Dental School, he taught for many years at the USC Dental School and recently completed a year-long residency in cosmetic dentistry.

The Conejo Valley Lupus Support Group, sponsored by Lupus International, meets every first Tuesday. Lupus is a term for a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the entire body.

The support group’s purpose is to share how to effectively live with lupus.
