Old Agoura’s political bosses are losing control Old Agoura’s political bosses are losing control Larry Brown’s letter last week showed that his desperation to continue to slander people that don’t agree with him is a signal that the few Old Agoura vigilantes that he represents are finally losing their power grip on our great city. For years this small band of cowboys have used a number of tactics to intimidate our residents and office holders, including tearing down and defacing signs, camping out all day at polling places, getting council members to appeal the construction of a home in Old Agoura so they don’t have to pay the $800 fee after the home was approved by the planning commission and, most recently, an anti-Semitic letter campaign that still has not ended after the election. The one good thing the last council election showed is that Old Agoura is no longer represented by Mr. Brown’s band of thugs and our city in the future may no longer have to be held hostage by a few.
