Journalist Daniel Pearl to be remembered later this month

In commemoration of the second anniversary of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl’s murder, selected contributors to the new anthology "I Am Jewish," named after the last words of the journalist, will offer reflections on Pearl’s powerful declaration of identity in a program at 7:30 p.m. Tues., April 27 at the Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles.

Readers at "I Am Jewish: An Evening of Reflection Inspired by Daniel Pearl" will include radio personality Dennis Prager, Vidal Sassoon, Skirball founding president and CEO Uri Herscher, comedian Sara Silverman, Pearl’s parents, Judea and Ruth Pearl, and others.

Books will be available for purchase and a book signing will follow the program.
