The topic will be transportation The Ventura County League of Women Voters will host a luncheon at 11 a.m. Fri., April 9 at 4681 Via Don Luis, Newbury Park. A representative of the Ventura County Transportation Commission will discuss local transportation needs, the lack of state and national funding to meet those needs and a proposal for a local sales tax to bridge the gap.
