Pilates Studio to host health fair

BetterBody Pilates Fitness Studio will host a free health fair and osteoporosis workshop on Sat., March 6 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at their studio at 622 Lindero Canyon Road, Oak Park (next to Ralphs).

The Arthritis Foundation will be presenting the workshop on osteoporosis at 2 p.m. Ella Cranny and Camille Torgeson, certified instructors from the foundation, will talk about living with osteoporosis and some of the current treatments available and will demonstrate exercises that can help in controlling the disease.

The open house will also offer free massages, body fat analysis, Pilates mat class demonstrations, a registered dietician and physical therapists. There will be music, refreshments and prizes.
