Enjoy a slice of birthday cake in honor of Ronald Reagan

The public is invited to festivities marking the 93rd birthday celebration of former President Ronald Reagan on Fri., Feb. 6 at the Ronald Reagan Library and Museum, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. free birthday cake will be served in the lobby, and the public will have the opportunity to sign birthday cards that will be sent to the family.

From 11 to 11:15 a.m., former First Lady Nancy Reagan will unveil the cornerstone of the new Air Force One Pavilion. Construction for the pavilion began last summer and the facility is scheduled to open in spring 2005.

From 3 to 6 p.m. there will be a live broadcast of KABC’s "Larry Elder Show" in Allbritton Hall. The broadcast is open to the public free of charge.

At 6 p.m. in the Courtyard, Larry Elder will deliver the Reagan Forum. Tickets are $40 per person and include dinner following the lecture.
