Holy Trinity Lutheran announces Christmas services

Christmas services will get underway at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church during the regular 8:30 and 11 a.m. services on Sun., Dec. 21 at the church, 1 West Avenida de los Arboles, corner of Mountclef Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

During these services there will be a celebration of choral music, "Sing Praises to Him." The Senior Choir and instrumental accompaniment will be led by choral director George Swanson.

At 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Wed., Dec. 24, there will be festive candlelight services especially designed for children and families. Pastor Janet Hansted Meadors will preach on "Come to the Birthday Party." The Village Sunday School and youth choir, the Aisle Cruisers, will sing.

The 8:30 and 11 p.m. services will be festive Holy Communion celebrations with the Senior Choir at the 11 p.m. service. Pastor Frank G. Nausin’s sermon topic will be "Unto Us." Nausin will deliver a sermon titled "A Child is Born" at 10 a.m. on Christmas Day, Thurs., Dec. 25. The service will include Holy Communion.
