Agoura High School graduate stands out at CSUN

Crystal Karr, a graduate of Agoura High School, was recently awarded her fourth scholarship at Cal State University Northridge (CSUN), the Associated Student Scholarship, for her academic and artistic achievements.

Karr previously was awarded the Presidential Scholarship by the art department, a scholarship that pays all tuition, registration and university fees, books, and parking for four years. She has also received the James Russell Simpson Merit Scholarship and won the Arts Council Scholarship.

Karr graduated from Agoura High School in 2001 with a 4.1 GPA and was on the varsity volleyball team three years. She has maintained a 3.9 GPA at CSUN. In addition to her scholarships, she has won numerous monetary awards in art competitions. She’s the daughter of Don and Robyn Karr of Agoura Hills.
