The loss was $675 after a lawn mower, a weed whacker and a leaf blower were stolen from a business in the 2400 block of Troutdale Drive on Nov. 5 or 6.

Agoura Hills

Someone poured fabric softener on $180 worth of groceries in two carts at a supermarket in the 5600 block of Kanan Road between 12:30 and 12:41 a.m. Nov. 8. Two white females are possible suspects and the incident was probably related to the strike.

Calabasas

A BMW SUV valued at $35,000 was stolen from a local dealer. It was apparently taken from a storage lot in the 24100 block of Park Sorrento on Aug. 8 or 9. The leased vehicle had been traded in and there was disagreement on whether the X5 had been stolen in Calabasas or from a lot in Canoga Park. It appears that the theft may have been an "inside job."

A cell phone was shoplifted from a store in the 23600 block of Calabasas Road at 2:55 p.m. Nov. 12. The loss was $375.

Someone apparently tried to siphon gasoline from a BMW in the 4200 block of Las Virgenes Road between 12:10 and 11 a.m. Nov. 8. Damage to the vehicle was $300.

Two tires on a Honda Accord were slashed ($200 damages) after vandalism the night of Oct. 8 in the 23700 block of Mulholland Highway.

Hidden Hills

The loss was $1,350 after golf clubs, a knife, hat, camera and cell phone were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Nov. 5 or 6 on Little Valley Road.

Someone stole cash and a leather notebook from an unlocked vehicle between 7:30 a.m. Nov. 11 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 12 in the 1000 block of Via Colinas. The total loss was $3,285.

Between 8 p.m. Nov. 9 and 10 a.m. Nov. 10 at a parking lot in the 500 block of Hampshire Road, a toolbox and tools were stolen from a storage shed. The otal loss, including damages, was $610.

A thief stole someone’s backpack and its contents between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m. Nov. 11 at Barnes and Noble bookstore in the 100 block of Promenade Way. The total loss was $310.
