Name confusion straightened out

In recent months, many articles and letters to the editor have been written in several local newspapers addressing various issues of local interest. I have received many calls and inquiries regarding many of them.

While I may or may not agree with the position taken in many of these letters, I would like to point out that I am not the author of any of them. Aside from this letter, I have never written a letter to the editor or any position papers.

The author of the letters to which I refer is Howard J. Fox. I am Howard D. Fox, a CPA––not the attorney.

Being a rather outspoken and generally opinionated person in my own right, I would prefer to answer for my own thoughts and comments, not those of someone else.

The next time you pick up the phone to call me, I hope it is to seek accounting and tax services and not to discuss editorial comments which are not mine.
