OCHS seniors to host boutique

The senior class of Oaks Christian School will host its inaugural holiday boutique from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat., Nov. 22 and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sun., Nov. 23 in the Dallas Athletic Center on the campus at 31749 La Tienda Drive, Westlake Village.

The event will feature nearly 50 booths offering jewelry, pottery, clothing, home décor, glass, soaps and collectibles. In addition to the gift booths, the holiday boutique will also feature grower-direct poinsettias and a specially-decorated tree with Christopher Radko and other seasonal ornaments as well as holiday gift items available through an opportunity drawing.

On Saturday afternoon, the Association of Retarded Children will perform a special "bells" performance to celebrate the opening of the boutique. In addition to live performances, holiday refreshments will be available to buy.

The event will help fund senior class activities including Grad Night and post-prom, according to Elly Salter, chairperson of the event.
