Agoura Hills

A woman left her purse on the bar for about two minutes at 1:30 a.m. Nov. 1 in the 30100 block of Agoura Road. When she returned, it was gone. The loss was $1,940 because the purse and wallet alone were worth more than $400 and the handbag also contained jewelry, a silver pill case, designer sunglasses, cash, a cell phone and makeup.

A tobacco store was burglarized between 8:30 p.m. Nov. 1 and 11 a.m. Nov. 2 in the 5600 block of Kanan Road. Damages to the roof, an alarm box, locks and a padlock were $780 and $400 cash was stolen.

A vehicle was broken into at a school’s parking lot in the 5900 block of Rustling Oaks the afternoon of Nov. 2. A multi-tool device, two purses and cash were stolen. Total loss: $630. Earlier that day (between 3:45 and 4:45 a.m.) at the same location, an SUV window was shattered and a purse, wallet and a business-card holder were also stolen (an additional loss of $345).

A car window had $500 damage and a cell phone, briefcase and Laker tickets were stolen (a loss of $460). The break-in the night of Oct. 30 occurred in the 30800 of Agoura Road.

A vandal shot a bb-gun at a home’s window on Eagleton Street at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 1. The damage was $400.

Calabasas

The loss was between $6,000 and $8,000 when a Ford pickup was stolen from the 5400 block of Las Virgenes Road between Oct. 29 and Nov. 2.

A computer valued at $4,360 was fraudulently charged after identity theft involving a Calabasas man who lives on Dry Canyon Cold Creek. The incident occurred sometime in May or June and it was only recently reported. The company that shipped the computer declined to tell the victim where it was sent.

The loss was $2,050 after a golf bag and clubs were recently stolen from a rack at a country club in the 4500 block of Park Entrada at 12:30 p.m. while the victim was in the pro shop. A videotape that might reveal the heist was entered as evidence.

At 5:11 a.m. Oct. 30, a vehicle’s burglar alarm activated in the 5900 block of Las Virgenes Road. A purse, digital camera, an MP3 players and cash were stolen (a loss of $1,945).

The night of Oct. 29 in the 5800 block of Las Virgenes Road, the total loss was $450 after an SUV window was shattered and a DVD player was stolen.

The loss was $242 after an amplifier was stolen from the Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center between Oct. 26 and 29. There was no evidence of a forced break-in.

The dollar loss was unknown after a window and center console of a car were damaged and an in-dash stereo valued at $235 was stolen. The burglary occurred in the 5800 block of Las Virgenes Road the night of Oct. 29.

A vehicle’s burglar alarm attracted the attention of the owner between 4:25 and 4:35 a.m. Nov. 5 on Bon Homme Road. The car’s window had $100 damage and $130 worth of valuables (checkbooks and file boxes) was stolen.

A camper shell had $200 damage after vandalism (possibly from an egg). The incident occurred on Parkmor Road between Oct. 25 and Nov. 5.

Six large organic pumpkins valued at $125 were stolen from in front of a Wrencrest Drive home between midnight and 9 a.m. Nov. 2.

No signs of forced entry were observed after a cell phone and cash were stolen ($33 loss) from a car in the 5700 block of Las Virgenes Road the night of Oct. 29.

Westlake/T.O.

The total loss was $4,360 when someone broke into a vehicle and stole two bags of makeup between 8 p.m. Nov. 3 and 7:45 a.m. Nov. 4 in the 1800 block of Stonesgate Street. The damages were $500.

Between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 5500 block of Shadow Canyon Place, a vandal scratched paint on a vehicle ($200 in damages).
