Forty percent of the proceeds will support the "Santa Comes to Agoura and Beyond" food drive. "We’re hoping to raise awareness," said Jim Rule, publisher of The Acorn Newspapers. "And 40 percent of the subscription fee will go to a deserving local cause," Rule said.

Getting food and other necessities to local families is the first priority of the food drive that’s been around for more than 20 years.
