80 trees planted on Mitzvah Day

LISA ADAMS/The Acorn A GOOD DEED--Michael Miller, 8, a third grade student at Heschel West Day School, plants one of an estimated 80 oak tree seedlings on Sunday with Tom Persons, mountain forestry manager with Tree People, during the ninth annual Mitzvah (good deed) Day event hosted by the Jewish Federation/Valley Alliance at Wildwood Regional Park in the city of Thousand Oaks.
