Local business says thanks to firefighters

Chiropractic Sports Institute wants to say thank you to all the firefighters who helped Southern California in its time of need. To show its appreciation, the Westlake Village business is donating all proceeds from its chiropractic therapy sessions this Sat., Nov. 8 from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Exisiting patients are asked to donate a minimum of $35 for a session. For new patients, the minimum donation is $50.

Any Los Angeles County or Ventura County fireman is entitled to receive treatment for free.

Patients will be writing checks directly to the American Red Cross Southern California Relief Fund, which will be sent to the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles, 2700 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90057.

Donations also may be directed to the "Steve Rucker Fund" at the Bank of Marin, 1450 Grant Ave, Novato, CA 94945.

Chiropractic Sports Institute is located at 2277 Townsgate Road, Suite 101, Westlake Village.
