We need Finders

We need Terilyn Finders on the LVUSD Board of Education—much, much more than Terilyn needs to be reelected. Terilyn chooses to serve our community as a board member because she has a vested interest in our schools. Her motivation is personal, not political.

As president of the board of education, Terilyn worked for all of our children, including her own two daughters. She negotiated contracts with teachers and created an atmosphere of cooperation between staff and administration. She has overseen the utilization of bond money to build new schools and renovate older ones. She is committed to seeing us through the current budget crisis with our schools and staff intact. Terilyn is not a quitter.

I’ve known Terilyn for several years now, first as a fellow "wife of a musician," now as a fellow mom and neighbor. She is an immensely talented and dedicated woman. Now, more than ever, we need Terilyn Finders on the board of education. Join me in voting for Terilyn on Nov. 4.
