Voting for Klessig

I am supporting Philippa Klessig for Westlake Village City Council for two main reasons. First, she is passionate in her love for this community and second, she is independent. For someone seeking a role in city government, these are strong traits to draw on.

Philippa understands completely why people move to Westlake, whether they came here 35 years ago or more recently. She deeply cares about helping our city prosper both financially and environmentally.

She understands that our school system is one of the finest in the nation and she wants to keep it that way. Her keen sense of business and her engaging style of communication will help her work alongside the other council members in building community relationships with other local governments.

I have known Philippa for several years as a neighbor, friend and member of Westlake Yacht Club and have been so impressed by her complete dedication and enthusiasm for working with others on projects few would tackle. By participating in our schools and local government during the past 14 years, she has been a part of the progress that has taken place in Westlake Village. Her experience is obvious as soon as you meet her.

Finally, Philippa is seeking the council position simply because it is time to give back to the city she has lived in for 14 years. She is skilled at listening carefully to ideas that are passed by her and has the intelligence to analyze and find solutions to problems and the courage to fight for what is needed in our community. I am pleased that Philippa is taking an interest in representing us.
