Soteras will work hard

I joined the Agoura/Oak Park/Las Virgenes Chamber of Commerce board of directors about four years ago. At that time the Chamber was on the verge of bankruptcy. The last three years, however, we have seen tremendous growth within our Chamber. Membership is at an all-time high and our events are becoming increasingly more popular.

Much of this can be attributed to our president, Alex Soteras.

Alex has shown throughout the years that he is a strong supporter of all aspects of our community. He continually gives his time and effort to help support our fire and police departments, schools, religious organizations, and especially our local businesses. This past year the Chamber again held events such as our annual Sheriff’s Deputy Recognition Luncheon, Educator of the Year Awards, and Dice and Ice, which benefits the Wellness Community.

Alex’s dedication and hard work are simply astounding. I believe that Alex Soteras will bring the same wisdom, energy, and enthusiasm to our city council that he already brings to the Chamber.

For these reasons, I ask that the entire community join me in casting your vote for Alex Soteras on Nov. 4.
