Soteras will enable better cooperation with schools, cops

I am endorsing Alex Soteras for Agoura Hills City Council. Since moving to Agoura three years ago, Alex has played an instrumental part in making me feel welcome.

When he introduced me to many business and local leaders, and through the relationships that developed, I realized his abilities as a leader himself. I feel Alex is genuinely concerned for our great city, due to his tireless interaction with its members and citizens.

It’s no wonder, when you realize he grew up in a family that was committed to public service. His father has served as trustee of the California State Teachers Pension Fund and is presently a trustee of the L.A. County Employee Pension Fund, while his mother has consistently volunteered her time at the Agoura Hills/Oak Park/Las Virgenes Chamber of Commerce office for years.

I feel Alex will bring new ideas to Agoura. He both supports and is supported by our schools, firefighters and law enforcement. This will help foster a true cooperation between all the institutions of city government and its citizens. I believe no other candidate has the energy, resourcefulness and personality to improve our city council’s relationship with the people and businesses of Agoura Hills.

I often run into Alex all over town, and when I visit local businesses, they say that Alex has personally visited with them, referred them business and helped address their concerns. I’m impressed with his abilities as a leader of our local chamber and believe that these abilities will serve him well as the new councilman of our great city.
