Reelect Schulz

We write in strong support of Pat Schulz for reelection to the Las Virgenes Unified School Board.

During the upcoming term, the school board must wrestle with two profound issues: dealing with the budget crisis and selecting a new superintendent. Pat has the experience, dedication, and wisdom to help the board make sound decisions in these two critical areas.

Pat is thoroughly familiar with the budget of the district, having wrestled with tough decisions over the past several years. She understands the critical leadership needs of the district.

Pat and her husband, Steve, have lived in Agoura Hills for over 20 years. Their children moved successfully through the LVUSD schools. She was active in the schools at every level as a parent, and as a board member understands the needs of all the constituents: the students, teachers, staff and administration. She is a selfless community leader, staying active in our children’s education, even when her children are out of the system.

This would not be a good time to lose a mature, level-headed, intelligent and caring person like Pat Schulz from the school board.
