Reserve now for event to fight cancer

Conejo Valley League of the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation/UCLA will present "Mystic Day" at 10 a.m. Sat., Nov. 15 at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza Hotel, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village. This annual fundraiser will feature lunch and a fashion show presented by Chico’s of Camarillo Premium Outlets. There will also be boutiques as well as a trunk show for holiday shopping opportunities.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Mystic Day without the presence of many psychic readers: palm readers, astrologers, clairvoyants, numerologists, open channelers and more. Plus, the day will feature an opportunity to win many prizes.

The Conejo Valley Guild of the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation/UCLA was founded in 1976 and is the largest of the Foundation’s Guild chapters with about 200 members. Their purpose is to raise funds to provide "seed grants" for doctors and scientists so that they can prove their theories in laboratories at UCLA. According to the Guild, full grants are not available to them until they show merit in their hypothesis.

The cost is $60 and reservations are required by Wed., Nov. 5.
