Class to teach secrets of success

The administrative office of Baxter is hosting the formation of a "Success Communication" instructional series sponsored by Toastmasters International. Weekly meetings will feature instruction, practice and mentoring by experienced public speakers to help participants develop public speaking skills and enjoy the experience. Meetings will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays in the Baxter auditorium at One Baxter Way, Westlake Village.

At the end of the eight-week series those participants who attend at least five meetings will earn a certificate of completion.

The enrollment fee is $15 and includes a book providing guidelines for the series.

Mentors for the program are drawn from local Toastmasters International Clubs including the Conejo Valley Chapter, which meets at 7:30 p.m. Mondays at Baxter.
