Candidate says ‘Thank you’

I would like to publicly thank Dave Moorman and Red Godfrey, as well as a number of other community members, for their tireless work toward the passage of the LVUSD parcel tax. Regardless of how any of us feels about state level or local leadership, we can all agree that in a time of a bleeding budget, we must not allow children to be held hostage. We must provide temporary relief to our schools to protect the integrity of the classroom and core academic programs. I am confident that under the leadership of Dave Moorman and Red Godfrey, we will be able to protect our students from a budgetary nightmare.
