Honoring the champs

 WINNERS-Conejo Rec and Park District recently presented the Young Athlete Recognition Award to the Oaks Christian High School varsity softball team. The team won the California Interscholastic Federation Division IV championship in Irvine. The Lions finished with a 32-2 record and had 26 straight victories (both Ventura County records). The team's GPA is 3.56.
