Rishoff deserves your vote

I am writing in support of the Steve Rishoff, a candidate for the Agoura Hills City Council. I have met Steve on several occasions and have found him to be civic-minded, caring, experienced, and highly qualified for the position he seeks.

Steve has been a practicing attorney for 29 years with a specialty in land use. He strongly opposed the Ahmanson Ranch project, unlike one of his opponents—Alex Soteras (who now says he was opposed)—because Steve understood the disruption it would have caused Agoura Hills. Steve wants to preserve the kind of community we have today.

Steve has also served as a mediator for the L.A. Superior Court, worked as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, served on his homeowners’ association board of directors, is certified as a 4H leader and has even been a YMCA Indian Chief Guide. It is no accident that he has been endorsed by four of the five people currently serving on the city council, not to mention four planning commissioners, our area’s state assembly person, three members of the Las Virgenes school board, and a host of leading citizens.

I urge people to elect Steve Rishoff to the Agoura Hills City Council. He will be a credit to the office.
