Brush up on your Chinese painting and calligraphy

Classes offered in Thousand Oaks

Conejo Chinese Cultural Association will teach classes in Chinese brush painting and calligraphy.

The classes will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. every other Saturday in Room G2 at Thousand Oaks High School, 2323 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

The meeting dates are: Oct. 11 and 25; Nov. 8 and 22; and Dec. 6.

Instructor Harris Ha, who studies traditional Chinese brush painting and calligraphy, will give demonstrations as well as offer critiques of students’ work.

The cost is $15 per lesson.
