At West Point

Nicholas Drake

Nicholas Drake, the son of William and Marianne Drake of Calabasas and a 2003 graduate of Calabasas High School, recently completed cadet basic training at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.

Cadets learn basic military skills, including leadership, through a rigorous military training program that is combined with military science instruction to provide a solid military foundation for officership.

Drake entered the academy last June and plans to graduate from West Point in 2007 and be commissioned a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
