Support sought for holiday lights in Thousand Oaks Support sought for holiday lights in Thousand Oaks Gardens of the World is hoping to host the second annual Holiday Festival of Lights this year with a spectacular display of lights. Last year, with the support of local businesses, the Foundation turned the Gardens into a wonderland for the holiday season. Lit by "Mobile Illumination," which also donated a large portion of the labor, the Gardens provided a venue for getting in the spirit. To become a sponsor this year, please call Dale Cowgill at (805) 480-3034. Plans are also currently underway for the Holiday Art Show in the Gardens Resource Center. This is the second annual juried show in which art submissions are accepted. This year’s theme is "Points of Light." Interested artists should reach Teri Peterson at TAP2557@ aol.com.
