Problem-solving to be discussed

The Gas Company in conjunction with the Valley Alliance of Neighborhood Councils and United Chambers of Commerce will host a roundtable discussion, "Working Together to Benefit the Community," from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 9 at the Airtel Plaza Hotel, 7277 Valjean Ave., Van Nuys. Subtitled "Getting Rid of the Fear Factor," the roundtable discussion will address how neighborhood councils and businesses can work together to resolve community problems, and provides an opportunity for business leaders and neighborhood councils to share ideas and concerns.
