CSU - Channel Islands recruiting businesses to lease space on campus

California State University Channel Islands is actively recruiting businesses to lease space in its new Town Center complex on its Camarillo campus. The three-story structure will be completed in the spring of 2005. In addition to apartment units, it will house a wide variety of retail, service and restaurant facilities.

Designed by RTKL Associates, Inc. of Los Angeles, the 90,000 sq.ft. CSUCI Town Center complex will serve both housing and service needs for the campus and its surrounding communities. The ground level will be 30,000 sq.ft. of mixed-use retail.

Proposed services in the Town Center include a community market, restaurant, mail and reprographic services, commercial office space, food vendors, a coffee shop and the campus bookstore. Other services are under consideration.
