Agoura Hills Two necklaces valued at $16,500 were stolen from a Woodglen Drive home between Aug. 26 and Sept. 6. A cleaning company had access during the time of the theft (there was no evidence of forced entry). Jewelry valued at $4,000 was stolen from a Willow Tree Drive home between June 1 and Aug. 30. A cleaning crew had access and there were no signs of a break-in. An office building in the 30400 block of Canwood Street was the site of burglaries between Sept. 6 and 8. A laptop computer and two computer bags were stolen (a loss of $1,628). Another laptop computer valued at $600 was also stolen. Hillrise Drive was the site of vehicle break-ins the night of Sept. 7. In one incident, a satellite radio/CD player was stolen ($1,825 loss). Another vehicle was similarly targeted, and the loss was $350 after an in-dash stereo and cash were stolen. Somebody tried to break into a car at 4 a.m. Sept. 7 on Glade Hollow Court, but nothing was stolen. But three other vehicles were also broken into the same night in the same vicinity. The loss was $1,600 when an in-dash stereo and speaker were stolen from one of them. No signs of forced entry were noted in the theft of a $1,540 laptop computer. It was stolen from a business office in the 28700 block of Roadside Drive between Aug. 18 and 31. From an unlocked car somebody stole a CD player, music CDs and cash. The $620 theft occurred on Lake Lindero Drive on Sept. 7 or 8. The loss was $470 after a car was burglarized (stereo, laptop computer and cell phone stolen) the night of Sept. 5 on Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Two wheel "boots" were placed on a car because it was illegally parked in the 30500 block of Canwood Street. The boots (valued at $450) were later stolen between 1:20 a.m. and 2 p.m. Aug. 25. Damages to a car were $250 and an in-dash stereo was stolen ($200 loss) the night of Sept. 3 on Tarrytown Lane. No signs of forced entry were noted in the theft of an in-dash stereo. The car’s dome light was damaged. The burglary ($300 loss) occurred on Patrick Henry Place the night of Sept. 3. An in-dash stereo was stolen ($120 loss) from a Honda Civic in the 5800 block of Kanan Road between 2 and 11 a.m. Sept. 6. A car’s tail light was broken ($100 loss) after vandalism on Eagleton Street the night of Sept. 6. Calabasas Flatware, crystal, house ware and other items totaling a loss of $6,904 were stolen from the garage of a home in the 22400 block of Pinewood Court between Aug. 28 and Sept. 3. The family was in the process of relocating at the time of the theft. Burglar(s) opened the garage door of a Bon Homme Road home the night of Sept. 8. Stolen from a car were a briefcase, cell phone, a portfolio, a Mont Blanc pen, a calculator, music CDs and a motorcycle tank bag. The loss was $2,830. No signs of forced entry were observed after two computers were stolen from a business office in the 26600 block of Agoura Road on Sept. 5 or 6 (a loss of $1,200). The loss was $1,000 after a Lexus was keyed on Liberty Bell Road on Aug. 31 or Sept. 1. A car was keyed ($600 damage) in the 27000 block of Malibu Hills Road at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 5 by a white female (5-4 to 5-7, 130-140) with dark brown shoulder-length hair and wearing a purple blouse, dark sweat pants, a small visor-like hat and bumble-bee glasses. The incident followed a traffic dispute in which a male apparently shouted obscenities at the suspect. The suspect drove a gold Volvo sedan. A building at a construction site was vandalized with obscene graffiti on Sept. 6 or 7 in the 22400 block of Mulholland Highway ($399 damage). A baseball-sized rock was thrown at a car in the 23700 block of Mulholland Highway at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 9. Due to heavy brush, the victim saw no suspect. The windshield was shattered ($250 damage). The loss on Sept. 6 or 7 was $250 after a vehicle was damaged and burglarized in the 26600 block of Agoura Road. A book bag and purse were stolen. The loss was $200 after an SUV window was smashed on Ambridge Drive at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 6. A pickup truck was targeted by paint-ball gun(s) at 8:05 p.m. Sept. 9 at Stunt Road and Calabasas Park Trail. Damages were $80. Suspects (no description) drove away in another pickup (a small dark blue or black Mazda with a camper shell). An unlocked Lincoln provided access and two purses and a cell phone were stolen from a parking area near Las Virgenes Road and Mulholland Highway between 10:10 and 10:40 a.m. Sept. 7. The loss was $75. Oak Park Between 9:30 p.m. Sept. 10 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 11 at an unidentified location, someone smashed a vehicle window and stole a CD player and two amplifiers. At 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 1400 block of Santo Drive, someone entered a garage and stole a six-pack of beer. Westlake Village While the victim was golfing, somebody stole $30 from her purse that had been left inside her SUV. There were no signs of forcible entry and the theft took place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 4 in the 4800 block of Lakeview Canyon Road. Westlake/T.O. Between 7:15 and 10:45 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 700 block of Hampshire Road, someone made criminal threats while brandishing a screwdriver. At 6:25 p.m. Sept. 8 on Hampshire Road at Thousand Oaks Boulevard, someone was cited for drinking in public. Police RSS feed |
