Candidate’s picture wasn’t worth 1,000 words

A recent campaign flyer sent out by Alex Soteras includes a picture of me and a number of others taken at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new track at Agoura High School. I’m sure that most people will recognize this as a photo from a Chamber of Commerce event and not a political endorsement.

However, I wish to make it clear that I have not endorsed Alex in this race and was not consulted on the use of my photo in his campaign material.

I have endorsed Dan Kuperberg and Steve Rishoff for the two seats available on our city council.

Dan has been a true community builder. He started SpringFest, wrote our hate crime legislation, chaired our open space task force, promoted programs for kids and teens and supported measures to help our schools. He has also proven to be a very effective advocate for our city. The relationships he has established at the state and federal level will be increasingly valuable for needed infrastructure funding. He has a record that deserves re-election and the experience, dedication and skills that will continue to serve our city well.

Steve Rishoff is a longtime resident of the city who brings a wealth of community involvement and a unique set of skills to the position. As an attorney with extensive land use experience, he’s uniquely qualified to promote his slow growth, small town, vision for our city. Selected as a potential judge, Steve is intelligent, ethical and has an even temperament and straightforward manner. He will be an excellent representative for our city.

Dan Kuperberg and Steve Rishoff are my choices for the Nov. 4 election.

Ed Corridori
