Children’s Festival of the Arts will be ‘messy fun’

The Conejo Valley Chapter of the National Charity League and the Conejo Recreation & Park District will present the Children’s Festival of the Arts from noon to 3 p.m. Sat., Sept. 20 at the lakeside pavilion at Conejo Creek Park North, behind the Thousand Oaks Library at 1379 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

This free event will feature arts, crafts, face painting, model magic and "Box City." Children are invited to wear their play clothes and "be ready for some messy fun."

Entertainment will be provided by the Pacific Coast Highlanders Bag Pipers and Irish Dancers, Joanie Bartels’ Children’s Music, Inlakech Ballet Folklorico and Don Caldwell the Balloon Guy.
