Agoura Hills A briefcase containing $19,100 worth of foreign and domestic currency was stolen from an office at a restaurant/bar in the 30100 block of Agoura Road between 11 and 11:45 p.m. Aug. 26. Somebody stole a $ 7,000 projector from a hotel meeting room around 11:25 a.m. Aug. 25 in the 30100 block of Agoura Road. Tools valued at $1,875 were stolen from a truck between 1 and 3 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 28600 block of Roadside Drive. A white male with brown hair and eyes (5-9, 160), 20-22, threw a beer bottle at another male in the back parking lot of a bar in the 28400 block of Roadside Drive at 11:20 p.m. Aug. 27. The suspect wore a white T-shirt and jeans, and drove away in a white Chevy Blazer. The incident followed an argument inside the tavern. The victim had a two-inch laceration to his forehead, but said he wouldn’t file charges against the suspect. The loss was $800 after a digital camera and accessories were stolen from a fast food restaurant in the 29100 block of Roadside Drive the afternoon of Aug. 25. A pickup truck had $250 damage and vehicle stereo equipment and music CDs were stolen ($260 loss). The break-in occurred on Canwood Street the night of Aug. 28. A white male, 30, (6-1, 200) with brown hair departed in a white SUV (driven by an accomplice) after stealing 30 disposable cameras from a Kanan Road drugstore at 9 p.m. Aug. 30. The cameras were valued at $480. Somebody entered an unlocked vehicle in an unlocked garage on Via Amistosa and stole vehicle stereo equipment and music CDs. The center console was damaged and the $390 total loss occurred the night of Aug. 26. A car was keyed ($300 damage) on Marlies Street on Aug. 30 or 31. At 1 p.m. Sept. 2 in the 30000 block of Canwood Street, someone was cited for possession of a controlled substance and for driving on a suspended license. Calabasas A John Deere backhoe valued at $43,350 was stolen between 12:45 and 3 p.m. Aug. 25 from a construction site on Stokes Canyon. The burglars would have needed a trailer to haul the backhoe, according to the victim. Somebody broke into a Commons Way business ($7,000 damages to a glass door and to two display cases) between 1:30 and 2:05 a.m. Aug. 27. Thirty-five pairs of Cartier eye glasses valued at $35,000 were stolen. A construction crew had access to an office in the 23900 block of Calabasas Road on Aug. 27 or 28 when three flat-screen monitors were stolen (a loss of $1,785). Between 5 p.m. Aug. 27 and 8 a.m. Aug. 28 at another office in the same building, two computers, a camcorder and a 35mm camera were also stolen (an additional loss of $5,600). While the victim was moving from the 5600 block of Las Virgenes Road between June 21 and 29, a camera valued at $3,325 was stolen. There were no signs of forced entry and the victim’s family, a termite inspector and a real estate agent had access to the dwelling. The victim only recently reported the theft. The screen to an open window was removed from a classroom in the 23600 block of Mulholland Highway and a TV, a DVD/VCR and a stereo were stolen. The $700 loss occurred between Aug. 22 and 25. At the same school the night of Aug. 26, two computers valued at $1,800 were stolen and there were no signs of forcible entry. The loss was $1,080 after a purse, wallet, cash and cell phone were stolen from an Adamor home between 1 and 2 a.m. Aug. 30. Several guests were present during the time of the theft. A sliding glass door at a Parkmor home was vandalized ($350 damage) between 6:25 and 11 a.m. Aug. 29. The night of Aug. 31, somebody stole a TV and wallet from an unlocked vehicle on Park Andora. The afternoon of Aug. 21, two white males, 20-25, stole an ATM card, cash and photographs ($80 loss) from the home of an 89-year-old man who lives on Schuylkill Drive. The suspects apparently followed the victim into his home while nagging him with questions. They departed when he ordered them out, but they took the above possessions. Hidden Hills At 11:45 p.m. Aug. 24 in the 24600 block of Long Valley, a mailbox was vandalized ($50 damage). The suspect drove away in a dark vehicle. Westlake Village The total loss was $2,100 after the window of an Oak Crest Drive business was smashed, and the suspect(s) reached through it and stole a laptop computer. The burglary occurred between Aug. 22 and 25. While a home was being remodeled in the 31900 block of Kingspark Court between Aug. 30 and Sept. 1, tools valued at $1,165 were stolen. The damage was $1,000 after a pickup truck was keyed in the parking lot of an office supply store in the 5700 block of Lindero Canyon Road between 8 and 8:30 p.m. Aug. 27. Authorities were working on a possible lead. Westlake/T.O. At 5:30 p.m. Sept. 4 on Promenade Way, the total loss was $9,182 when 144 eyeglass frames and display items were stolen. There was also about $100 in damages. Someone stole a wallet, brief case and a credit card from a locked vehicle between 3 and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 100 block of N. Westlake Boulevard. The total loss was $1,060 and the damages were $100. Between 12:05 and 4:29 a.m. Aug. 29 in the 1800 block of Bridgegate Street, two cell phones and cash were stolen (a loss of $540). Someone was arrested for driving under the influence at 9:25 p.m. Aug. 31 on Russell Ranch and Lindero Canyon roads. Police RSS feed |
