New West Symphony to host family picnic, fundraiser

New West Symphony League will host a family picnic from 4 to 7 p.m. Sat., Sept. 13 at Conejo Creek Park, North, 1379 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

The event will feature a variety of games for all ages, a "sumptuous picnic feast created by the Whale’s Tail restaurant" and hands-on opportunities to experience musical instruments during a visit from the New West Symphony music van.

The cost for adults is $40, $10 for children 5 to 12 and children under 5 are admitted free. Proceeds will benefit the New West Symphony and its youth programs. For reservations please call Harlene at (805) 777-7626.
