High profile legal cases in the news to be discussed

Laurie L. Levenson, a professor of law and William M. Rains Fellow at Loyola Law School, will discuss such high profile cases in the news as the Kobe Bryant, Scott Peterson and Martha Stewart cases as well as field questions at the 7 p.m. meeting of the Haverim B’nai B’rith Unit on Mon., Sept. 15 at Temple Adat Elohim, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

At Loyola Levenson teaches criminal law, criminal procedure, ethics and evidence. She’s provided legal commentary on numerous high profile cases in the past and is the author of many books and articles. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and attended UCLA School of Law.
