Academy of Dance hosts auditions

LISA ADAMS/The Acorn LOVE TO DANCE-Amy Miller, right, Academy of Dance and School of Performing Arts instructor, takes Maggie Darago, 8, through a series of dance steps as Maggie prepares for the upcoming season. The company will travel to regional and national competitions as well as attend a professional dance convention. The troupe is led by Miller, who's taught thousand of students across the country for the United Spirit Association in addition to dancing for the Sacramento Kings Royal Court Dance team.
