A car’s sunroof was damaged and many music CDs, cash, an in-dash stereo, two pairs of sunglasses and a disposable camera were stolen. The $5,460 total loss occurred in the 28400 block of Roadside Drive between 11 p.m. Sept. 20 and 1 a.m. Sept. 21.

A cleaning crew had access to a Dorothy Drive business between Aug. 12 and 15 when two computers were stolen. The loss was $3,000.

From a unlocked vehicle on Eagleton Street the night of Aug. 20, a canvas bag, an MP3 player, two leather journals, books, a passport, birth certificate, a Bible, music CDs, and first aid and tire pressure kits were stolen. The loot was valued at $1,310.

The plate glass window of a store in the 29100 block of Roadside Drive was the target of a rock-throwing vandal the night of Aug. 19. The damage was $500.

Somebody keyed a vehicle (dollar loss unknown) on Meadow Vista Way the night of July 29. The incident report was only recently forwarded to the press.

The loss was $200 after a car window was smashed in the 28600 block of Conejo View Drive between 3:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Aug. 19.

Cancelled checks were stolen from a Chesebro Road mail box between Aug. 11 and 14.

Three white males, 17-20, drove away in a black pickup after trespassing the garage of a Calderwood Court home at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 23. Nothing appeared to have been stolen.

Calabasas

An unlocked garage on Parkmor was the site of a burglary on Aug. 21 or 22. A TV, VCR, stereo, cell phone and weed whacker were stolen. Total loss: $550.

A wallet and cash were stolen from a purse on a business desk between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Aug. 18 in the 24100 block of Calabasas Road. The loss was $375.

The canvas door to a vehicle was cut open on Aug. 21 or 22 on N. Las Virgenes Road and an in-dash stereo was stolen. Total loss: 350.

Hidden Hills

The loss was $20 after a mail box on Round Meadow Road was recently knocked off its post. The remnants of a large firecracker (possibly an M-80) were found nearby.

Westlake Village

A car’s windows were left slightly open because of the heat between 8:05 and 10:40 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 5600 block of Lindero Canyon Road. During that time, a pair of binoculars and a notebook (totaling a loss of $155) were stolen.

Westlake/T.O.

Someone broke in through a window and stole a computer ($3,000 loss). Damages were $450 and the break-in occurred between 7:45 a.m. Aug. 25 and 7 a.m. Aug. 26 in the 2600 block of Townsgate Road.

Between 2 and 2:53 a.m. Aug. 25 at The Promenade, someone set a vehicle on fire, causing $1,000 in damages.
