Eagle Scout says, ‘Thank you’ My Eagle Scout project, which involved installing a 330-foot irrigation system along the embankment just south of the tennis courts at Agoura High School, was completed on Aug. 8. The project took a total of four days and about 200 man-hours to complete. A week before the project began, the funding I was counting on did not materialize. I started calling various companies, although given the time frame this was no easy task. Several companies helped with general items, but certain supplies I needed were rare to find due to their high cost to inventory. I started to get desperate when the project start date was the next day. Miraculously at the last minute two key local companies came to my rescue and donated the hard-to-find parts. I would like to thank the following companies and individuals for their generous support in helping to plan and providing the supplies for my Eagle Project. With the donated materials, I directed a crew of fellow Scouts and friends in completion of the project, which was sponsored by BSA Crew 2956, Ventura County Council.
