Adat Elohim instructs children on high holidays

Temple Adat Elohim will host a discussion for parents and grandparents, "Celebrations! What to Teach Our Children: Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur," from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sun., Sept. 21 in Room 8 at the Temple, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. The event is open to the public; temple membership isn’t required.

Participants will learn about crafts, songs and traditions regarding these important High Holy Days. Discussions will center on what adults should know about the holidays and what to teach their children as well as activities to share with them.
