Get snapping for photography contest

Conejo Recreation and Park District has announced a deadline of 4 p.m. Tues., Sept. 9 for its photography contest open to all ages.

All entries must be dropped at Goebel Senior Adult Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. Contestants’ entries will be displayed from 10:30 a.m. through 2 p.m. Wed., Sept. 24 at the Center. Staff members will judge all photos.

Ribbons will be awarded to first, second and third place for each category.

Categories for entries are: pets/animals; children; people/places; nature; computer-altered.
