Connectors to close at 101, 405 on Sunday morning

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the westbound 101 Freeway connectors to the northbound and southbound 405 Freeway on Sun., Sept. 7 from 6 to 11:30 a.m. for guardrail repair, maintenance, sign repair, electrical and bridge work and striping. In addition, the westbound 101 Freeway at the Van Nuys Boulevard on-ramp as well as the northbound 101 Freeway at the Sepulveda Boulevard off-ramp will be closed.

Detour signs will be posted. Caltrans reminds motorists fines are doubled in work zones.
