Cityhood activist dies at age 70 Carole Dynda passed away on Mon., Sept. 1 due to complications resulting from lung cancer. Born in Trenton, N.J. on Sept. 7, 1932, she was a longtime resident of Agoura Hills. She served as chief petitioner for the successful cityhood campaign in 1982. Carole is survived by her husband, former Agoura Hills City Councilman Earnest Dynda, her daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Frank Sain, and grandsons Joseph and Andrew. Carole was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Memorial contributions can be made to the La Reina High School Scholarship Fund. Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow, Fri., Sept. 5 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Westlake Village. Arrangements are under the direction of Pierce Bros.
