Little girls get chance to be ‘Princess for a Day’

Girl Scouts will host a special celebration for girls ages 5 through 9 from 10 a.m. to noon Sat., Sept. 13 at California Lutheran University, 60 W. Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks.

Anyone who knows a little princess is invited to bring her to be treated as "Princess for a Day." The event will include a fun tea party, making a tiara, making new friends plus receiving a copy of the "Princess in Training" handbook and a beautiful charm.

The cost is $7 per couple (parent and girl) and $5 for "each additional princess." To register, please call the Girl Scouts at (877) 824-7248, ext. 137.
