Young people learn about screenwriting

Young adults ages 12 through 18 are invited to learn tips on writing for the entertainment industry when screenwriter David Boito presents "Writing for Television and Motion Pictures" at 7 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 14 at the Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

The program will explore writing for various media, including animation, television sitcoms, dramas, comedy and feature length movies. Participants will also hear some trade secrets and tips from a seasoned writing professional.
