Agoura Chamber to honor deputies during luncheon

The Agoura/Oak Park/Las Virgenes Chamber of Commerce will honor personnel of the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station at 11:30 a.m. Tues., Aug. 12 during a luncheon at The Canyon, 28912 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills.

Capt. Tom Martin, who recently became commander at Lost Hills, will present awards to the following deputies: Michael Ranes, Stephen Rotella, Patrick Mathers, Lawrence Mohr and Kevin Pearcy, as well as to property custodian Gloria Ferra.

Cmdr. Chris Godfry from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department will present an award to Dep. Brian Tiffany.

L.A. County Sheriff Lee Baca and Ventura County Sheriff Bob Brooks and Cmdr. Keith Parks from Ventura County Sheriff’s Department are scheduled to appear.

The Chamber will present a special award to Los Angeles City Councilman Dennis Zine for his 33 years of service to LAPD.
