Sign up soon for tennis tourney

The city of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services is co-sponsoring a tennis tournament open to youth ages 8 to 15 from noon through 5 p.m. Sat., Aug. 16 at Moranda Park in Port Hueneme.

This is a novice tennis tournament for youth who have not won a match in a sanctioned SCTA satellite tournament.

There will be separate divisions for boys and girls. All participants will receive a certificate and those placing first in each age division will receive a trophy.

The registration fee is $12 and the deadline to register is 5 p.m. Tues., Aug. 5.

Proof of age is required with registration. Participants will be notified by mail of their first match.
